And then we became social
Guilty of 4, 5, and 10
There tends to be this stereotype of newly weds who after the long reception night and blissful honeymoon, seem to disappear for a while.
I hate to admit but we totally fell off the grid for a solid 3 months. Occasionally I'd go out with some girl friends and have lunch and Ethan would catch up with some buds but in the end we just loved to spend 24/7 with each other, even if we weren't doing anything
but really
probably watching Netflix
Now that we got social- don't get me wrong - we still love to spend all of our time together. We realized that we would run into our friends and it would be the usual
"Hey! lets get together sometime?!"
or
"Let's do lunch when you're free"
The truth is, we're never free. Between school, work, running errands, translating, visiting family, temple visits meetings, workouts and everything between; we just didn't find the time.
You make time for what you want right?
Something that's always been a 'thing' for Ethan and I, is eating out. (Mostly dessert)
Bless his heart and lack of a sweet tooth
He has probably brought me to all the dessert places Provo and Orem have to offer.
We wised up and invited our friends out with us and some of our other newly married friends come laugh at our not so funny jokes (ok, ok Ethan is pretty hilarious) and spend a few hours catching up.
I guess, at the end of the day:
Jeff, Megan, Chris, Jodie, Will, Erin, Betsy and Alexx
We love you
Thanks for still liking us
